Chapter 1 Ponies Everywhere
Magna est veritas pravalebit. That is what my father, Sprinkle Rise, told me about our family and how we have a motto. It means the truth is mighty and will prevail. He died durning a battle in the second war with the Changlings, or so I was told. My mother became ill after his death. She died a few months after him. My father gave me instructions on what to do if he was to die. In a letter it told me to take care of my mother. If she was to die, I was to join the military. I was one of the youngest to join the military. I was in there for four years. I reached the rank of sergeant. I told most of my company to call me by my name, Cloud Flash. I then became a DJ/dubstep artist. After a few years of this, I met a fellow DJ in Las Pegasus. His name was Sprinkle Bird but he liked to go by the name DJ Krohnic. He needed a place to stay, as did I, so we decided to build a house on the outskirts of town. The shape of the house was really unusual. It was in the shape of a pair of headphones. We built a club in between our house. The shape of the club was Vinyl Scratch's head. I lived in the right headphone. I retained my DJ name, FL4SHBANG, for the club. I and Bird are co-owners of the club. And this is how one war changed my life forever.
I met Twisted Betrayal at a job interview. We needed a bartender for the club, not my idea. Bird thought that we needed one. I opposed extremely, saying that it was useless. He made me give in when he said that all clubs have a bar. Since he wanted the bar I put it on his side of the club where the door connects to his house. I woke up early that day for it was opening day for the club. “You ready for tonight,” I asked. I really had a hard time waiting. “Not really,” he said, “We still don’t have a bartender.”
Just then a black pegasus appeared, scaring the crap out of me and Bird. “I hear you need a bartender,” he said.
For a pony that seemed and looked evil he sure had the voice and stare for it. It made my freezer look obsolete. I would say he had to come from the arctic with that cold voice and stare.“And you are,” Bird asked. I could tell that he was suspicious of this pony. “Just tell me where I can sign up,” he asked. He glared at me."Right this way,” I said. I lead the three of us to the back.
