"Unfortunately he died when I was sixteen. My mother followed him a couple of months later." She looks down and has a few tears in her eyes. "I understand. I don't know who my father is. My mother abandoned me when I was fifteen." I gave her a gentle hug. "I'll be right back. I have to do my set."
I ran to the back and got my mane the way I wanted it. I went to the stage and waited for a few minutes. Bird started to walk down the stairs and passed out half way down. I had to shake him awake to get up on stage. Once I was on stage I got the crowd moving. There seemed to be more ponies there than I thought. I went through the songs within my two hour limit. When I played the last song, which was the one on the disk, I looked at the bar and seen Betrayal nodding. I got off tthe stage to let the next group, called Ponywood Undead, on stage. I never heared of them but they needed some reconition so I let them in the club. I went to find Chaser. "I belive I owe you a drink," I said when I find her. She smiled. "I do belive so." We went into the bar and ordered two root beers. We went outside to talk. "What was your father like?" she asked. I closed my eyes and tried to keep myself from showing too much emotion. I really didn't want to talk about him, but I really didn't have a choise. " He was a kind, loyal stallion that put others before himself. He cared about those he loved and wouldn't put them in harms way if it was avoidable." She looked at me for a litlle while. " I can see why you want to be like him. I see many great things in you. I can see that you are caring and loyal." We stood silent for several minutes."It's getting late," she said. "I'll see you tommorow?" Same time same place," I answered. She left for downtown as I went back into the club.
When I walked in, I am blasted with profanity. I would usually take profanity out of my songs, but these ponies seem to have a blast with it. They were finishing up when I went onto the bar. "I just realized something," I said as I entered the bar. "I never did catch your name." Betrayal looked at me. "The name is Twisted Betrayal." I swear he can get a job as a freezer or work in Cloudsdale in the snow department. I know what gray eyes mean and even blue, but blood red was something I didn't know about. There was something to them that made me wonder what he was like before me and Bird met him.
When everypony was out of the club, I locked the front door. "I better get some sleep," Betrayal said. "I have some work to do in the morning." Bird and I stare at each other. "Where else do you work?" Bird asked. "The morgue," He said with a frown. " See y'all tomorrow. On second thought, see you when I see you." With that he left.
