"What were we doing before he came?" I asked. "I'm not entirely sure," she answered. "Why did you ask for his mate's name when I told you earlier?" "I learned that if you have information that could cause the balance of power to shift, that you keep it to yourself. It was one of the first lessons I was taught in my military days.""Seems legit,” she says. "If you act like you didn't know her name he won't know because he would think that you just remember him telling you." I looked at her as though I understood what she meant. "Sure. Let's go with that. I'll take you to meet Bird." We left the club and climbed up the really long stairs that lead to our front doors. I have to tell Bird to make an elevator or an escalator. I knocked on the door and waited for several minutes. After a while, I used the key that he hides under than one of the many mats he has and walked inside. We found him in his room sobbing. "Hey, what's wrong?' I asked. "I just learned that my mother died," he answered. "Are you sure this was your mother?" Chaser asked. "As sure as Celestia raises the sun." "If you don't feel like working tonight, you don't have to. I'll find a replacement if you want." Thanks man. Do you think you could go into the bar and get me a drink?" "Sure thing." I left for the bar and got some imported whiskey."Here you go," I said as I came back. "Thanks." We left to find a replacement for Bird. "I don't think we are going to find anypony," I say. 'Let's try over there," Chaser said, pointing to a club that I knew all too well. I cringed at the mere thought of going in there. "I'd rather not." "Why not?" "I just don't like the way the club is set up." I went in it the same night I met Bird.

I was taking a small walk when I heard club music. Curious, I poked my head inside was more or less horrified at what I saw. I had heard of these clubs before. What the clubs were is something that is morally wrong. I high tailed it out of there, trying to block out the images that filled my mind.
I looked at Chaser and gave in. "Don't say I didn't warn you." "Okay." We walked into the club. I looked around and felt really, really, really uncomfortable. "Hey Lightning Chaser," one of the dancers called. I looked over and saw a gray pegasus running towards us. "Hey Dasher," Chaser said. "How you been?" "I've been good,” Dasher said. She turned to look at me. "Lightning Dasher,” she said holding a hoof out. So many Lightings, I thought to myself. "Cloud Flash," I say shaking her hoof. A face of recognition registers on her face. "So you’re DJ FL4SHBANG," she says."Yeah," I said. It's not every day you meet a mare and she knows you by your alias. "How do you know me?" "I hear a lot when I'm dancing. I'll try to make it to your club some time." "Okay." With that we left.
